Training
On-line training resources
There are a number of web-based training courses that are available on the BSA national web-site:
- This is Scouting (required for all leaders)
- Youth Protection (Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing)
- Safe Swim Defense/Safety Afloat
- Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing Fast Start
- Troop Committee Challenge
- Staffing the District Committee
- Plus, many instructional videos
You may participate in all of these by visiting the BSA Online Learning Center (olc.scouting.org). After you complete each of these training sessions, you should print out the completion certificate and forward a copy to the council office.
