Save money on Summer Camp!
New ways to save money on camp fees in 2008
- Join Wagion Lodge Camp Promotion team
- You do not need to be a member of the OA to participate.
- Make Camp presentation using script to Packs and Troops in the Council.
- Lodge will recruit members to be Summer Camp Recruiters. Please contact lodge camping promotions chairman if interested.
- Lodge will train recruiters.
- Incentive will be a $25.00 gift card or Scout Shop credit for visiting six troops or packs. Money can also be used towards camp.
- Incentive for New Troops enrolling at Camp Conestoga
- The $25.00 site fee for new Troops (Council or Out of Council) at Conestoga has been dropped.
- Incentive for Council Troops for 2008
- If troop enrollment on Sunday of their week at Camp exceeds or equals their total of 2007 they will receive a credit for their Unit account of $5.00 per Scout.
- Example: Troop 123 had 15 at Camp in 2007. This year they have 15. They would receive $75.00 credit to their Unit Account.
- Family Discount
- Fee for second Boy Scout or more attending Camp Conestoga is $200 per Scout.
- Fee for second Cub Scout or more attending Wolf Bear or Webelos Camps at Camp Buck Run is 15% less.
- If the family has one Boy Scout and one Cub Scout attending Camp the Cub Scout will get a 15% discount.
