Become a Friend of Scouting, here's how . . . . .
The Westmoreland Fayette Council Boy Scouts of America depends heavily on funds realized from the annual Friends of Scouting campaign to continue to keep Scouting strong and alive in our area. The Council serves over 10,400 youth through Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing and Learning for Life programs. This represents over 28.79% of the total available youth in our two-county area.
Your support of this effort will help provide training for volunteer leaders and maintain a Council Service Center and Scout Shop for program support and record keeping. The Council also depends on your support to continue to improve and maintain three area camping facilities to provide outdoor program experiences.
Give through the United Way
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of citizenship, and to develop personal fitness. Please help us to keep this quality program available to the youth of our area. Support Friends of Scouting in the Westmoreland Fayette Council. If donating through your local United Way, please designate BSA, Code 493.

Individuals or corporations that wish to make Friends of Scouting contributions over the web may do so by visiting ScoutingFriends.Org. Although the donations site is run by the national council, 100% of contributions will go toward the Westmoreland-Fayette Council.
Donate your old used car
The Westmoreland Fayette Council in cooperation with Valero Motors in Delmont has a program to accept used cars as donations to the Council. We will consider any vehicle in good running condition. If the Council accepts your vehicle you will receive a letter confirming your donation.
