NEW YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

All Volunteers are required to complete the NEW Youth Protection Training (either online or in person) by September 30.  These are facilitator-led versions of the new training.  This course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete

online or in person.

Tuesday September 4, 7:30 pm- Council Service Center (2 Garden Center Drive, Greensburg Pa 15601)

Thursday, September 20  7:00 pm- Mountain View Elementary School (1010 Mountain View Drive, Greensburg Pa 15601)

Saturday, September 22  10:00 am - Rohrbacher Lodge, Camp Conestoga (639 Buck Run Road, Somerset Pa 15501)

Monday September 24  9:00 am - Council Service Center (2 Garden Center Drive, Greensburg Pa 15601)

The National office provides several training resources and explanations online.  Click Here to see them.

Although online training is easy and accessable, the in-person training courses are the preferred method. 

  • Cub Leaders can participate in the training on the District level by contacting their District Executive or registering at the Council Service Center for the course.
  • Boy Scout Leaders can find registration forms for the Scoutmaster and Assistant Specific training and the Outdoor Leader Skills under the training tab.
  • Venturing Leaders can contact the Council Service Center to arrange for personal coaching and individual training.
